Welcome to Texas

In February, Mike and I moved to Texas; DFW to be precise. We located closer to Fort Worth, in Keller. Our house is amazing and what they say about living off the West Coast is true: your money goes a lot farther!

Now that we’ve settled in, my challenge is to break into the local art scene. I did pretty well in Las Vegas, showing new work every month for a couple of years. I had sales and certain recognition. Here, I got nothin.’

So it’s time to become involved. Today I booked myself into the big annual outdoor art show in Fort Worth. ArtsGoogle will take place in October and I’ll have a 10×10 space. That gives me something to work toward (I’ve always done well with deadlines).

Meanwhile, I’m remembering some of my Vegas and San Diego shows and thought I’d post a photo or two:

Thanks Maynard Studios, for the photo
ok: so I’d just had a hip replaced!
